Crimson Updates

Great Yarmouth

Enviro400 5686 AU64 BFP has retuned despite being later than originally planned with Enviro400 5688 AU64 BFV going in the opposite direction for similar treatment.


Luton

Enviro400s 5679 KX64 RHL and 5680 KX64 RHN have now arrived at the Luton depot in preparation for the launch of route 58 in January.

Luton Arrivals

Two new additions to the Luton fleet are Wright Eclipse Gemini 2s 5710 BK10 MFU and 5711 BK10 MFV which have displaced the last two single deckers on route 823. The increase in capacity has been introduced due to complaints of full loadings along the route.



They will enter service on route 823 tomorrow morning.

Brand New Arrivals

More brand new buses have arrived into Braham Buses Group fleets but this time at Aylesbury and Luton depots.

Aylesbury depot

Two brand new 29 seated ADL Enviro200s have arrived here for the take over of route 25A between Oxford and Bicester on the 1st December. These are 2148/9 OU64 DGE/F with one of these being the spare to the route to comply with Oxford's LEZ.



Luton depot

Eight brand new Enviro400s are currently in the process of arrived for the launch of new route 58 between Luton and Hatfield via Stevenage and Welwyn Garden City which will operate every 20 minutes Monday to Saturday. The new route is to be under our new 'crimson' brand.

So far, 5681 KX64 RHP has arrived and it will be used on driver training along with 5682 KX64 RHS which is currently on loan to Great Yarmouth depot to cover for the refurbishment of there own Enviro400s.

Another Crimson Enviro400

The second 'crimson' Enviro400 has arrived back at the Great Yarmouth depot ready for the conversion of route 10 between Norwich and Lowestoft via Acle and Great Yarmouth (operated in partnership with BetterBus). This one being 5684 AU64 BFN.



5686 AU64 BFP is currently away receiving the same treat and is expected to be away for another week.

Changes At Southampton

We have recently seen the arrival of three Scania OmniCities at out Southampton depot. These are well travelled 3273-5 YN03 UWF-H, which have previously seen use on loan at Thetford and Aylesbury.




Plaxton Centros 3321 YJ07 JSU and 3322 YJ07 JSV are now withdrawn despite being newer than there replacements. These both still carry there old fleet numbers (321 and 322).

Enviro400 Arrives At Great Yarmouth

Enviro400 5692 AU14 DLY has arrived at the Great Yarmouth depot after a slight refurbishment and a repaint. It will be used on route 10 between Norwich and Lowestoft via Acle and Great Yarmouth and will work alongside the 64-plate examples.

Enviro400 5684 AU64 BFN is currently away having similar treatment as route 10 is due to be the next route to be launched as part of our new 'crimson' brand.

Other Brand New Buses

In the past week, we have mentioned other standard specification Enviro200s are due to enter service today at two of our depot; Aylesbury and Norwich. At our Aylesbury depot, we have put four brand new Enviro200s onto our 321 service between Aylesbury and High Wycombe. The buses are:

3252 OU64 DFP
3253 OU64 DFR
3254 OU64 DFT
3255 OU64 DFV





At our Norwich depot, we have put three brand new Enviro200s onto our 35 service between Eaton and Thorpe End via Norwich City Centre. The buses are:

3265 AU64 RLU
3266 AU64 RLV
3267 AU64 RLX



 
All of these entered service for the first time today.
