Staff Transport Buses

We've operated Staff Transport buses ever since the company first began but have only just stated rolling them out with a dedicated bus which is normally one of our older midi-buses which have been replaced and taken out of public service. Ever since we repainted the Coach Services fleet, it had its own Staff Transport bus but now we are starting to see the same be done to all of our Braham branded depots. Luton is the first depot with ex-Wiltshire Buses Optare Solo 2140 Y875 PWT taking on the role in its new coat of paint.

More Staff Transport liveried buses will be allocated to the rest of the depots in the coming months.

Crimson route 10

Crimson route 10 has seen an existing route being upgraded to Braham Buses Group's new high specification brand. Route 10 between Norwich and Lowestoft via Acle and Great Yarmouth is the first existing route operated by Braham that has been relaunched. It is currently ran in partnership with BetterBus who have also recently relaunched there workings and buses that operate along route 10. We have refurbished the current Enviro400s on the route which have been joined in recent months by a 14-plate example that transferred from Norwich. Our own workings on route 10 currently have a Peak Vehicle Requirement of five buses.

Enviro400 5683 AU64 BFK is still away for refurbishment but is due back soon.

Look out for more updates for future crimson routes across the country!

New Crimson route 58

At the beginning of this week we launched our third 'crimson' route across the Braham Buses Group network. This route was new route 58 which operates every 20 minutes between Luton Interchange and Hatfield running via Luton Airport, Stevenage and Welwyn Garden City. It is operated using eight brand new ADL Enviro400s buses to full 'crimson' specification despite having a Peak Vehicle Requirement of seven. The new buses are 5675-82 KX64 RHF/G/J-L/N/P/S with 5682 KX64 RHS being spare for the route.

5482 KX64 RHS is due to get Bedfordshire branding on Sunday.

On the 19th January, route 10 between Norwich and Lowestoft via Great Yarmouth will be converted to 'crimson' operation.

Aylesbury Loans

Two Ex-London ADL Enviro200s have gone on loan to the Aylesbury depot due to a shortage of vehicles after they transferred a few buses out. The two buses have been in the reserve fleet ever since they were brought with the rest of the batch which are being used at Wiltshire Buses. They are 2138/9 SK07 HLU/V and are still in London red which they were delivered to us in.

At present these two buses are only on loan to Aylesbury.
